FABA Position Statement: Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA)Florida Association for Behavior Analysis Board of Directors — May 22, 2026 The FABA Board of Directors has released an official position statement addressing the growing federal and state scrutiny of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) in Medicaid-funded Applied Behavior Analysis services in Florida. AHCA Medicaid and eQHealth/AccentraFABA continues closely monitoring developments regarding AHCA's implementation of current rules, Managed Care, and other policy changes involving behavior analysis services, fee schedules, CPT billing codes, and related issues. These issues significantly impact the availability of ABA services for recipients and their families, plus service providers across Florida. FABA has been meeting with AHCA leaders and will continue pressing for improvements.
